The Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles

Frank Gehry will not go unnoticed, and perhaps that “contaminates” the most important city in the world, creating his own works. In this case we are in Los Angeles, where he was born, artistically speaking, where he won the competition organized by Lillian Disney, widow of Walt, for the construction of a concert hall where the Philharmonic Orchestra and the Chorus of Los Angeles could perform.

In the best traditions it took several years for its realization (in 1987 the competition, in 2003 the opening to the public), and also a lot of money (the costs went up along the way), but all from the private, led by Mrs. Lilian and the Walt Disney Company. A white column of water 15 meters high, bursts into the semi-darkness of a cave to throw in a blue-green lake and continue the run of the river to the river Isonzo. It is the spectacle offered by the Kozjak, a river which originates from Mount Krncica, in Slovenia, through several canyons and falls into six waterfalls.

In the mouth of the Gorges below the Kozjak has created the picturesque waterfall in Slovenia- Veliki Kozjak. About 250 feet below the water jump again. The distinctive environment of Veliki Kozjak creates a special atmosphere. Goblin Valley: the valley of the goblins in Utah

In the United States there are so many parks, spectacular scenery, spectacular natural, that eventually some of these are overshadowed by most famous, like the case of Goblin Valley, the Valley of the Goblins, in the western state of Utah.

The main feature of the park, are its rock formations, commonly known as Fairy Chimneys, the most famous of which are the pyramids of Goreme, in Turkey.

Obviously, the valley was well known to Native Americans, but we “whites”, discovered the valley, only in 1920, by chance, given that the discovery is commonly attributed to the cowboys who were looking for calves, escaped from the herd. The photo, which was taken at 499 Oxford Street about a month ago, was titrated Primark madness, with the subtitle “People lined up for the opening”. The London store of this chain of cheap clothing opened for the past 5 years, but still remains one of the phenomena of “collective hysteria” that animate London shopping.

Girls and ladies that flutter among the aisles, trying and trying again the clothing and accessories, to the despair of boyfriends and husbands, who yearn for the moment when you will have to go to the checkout to pay. What to see in Kent: a castle, a cathedral and a palace

The Canterbury Cathedral, protected by ‘Unesco for its historical and religious value, as well as artistic, and seat of the Archbishop of Cantherbury, spiritual leader of the Anglican church, but also the terminal of the Via Francigena, that lead the pilgrims until Rome. You enter from 9 to 17, from 12:30 to 14:30 on Sunday, and the entrance fee is 9.5 pounds for adults and children 6 to 18 years (free under 6 years old).

Leeds Castle, six miles from Maidstone, for someone one of the most beautiful castles in the world, certainly one of the most visited castles in Britain, if only for its aesthetic value (inside a maze, a golf course, and a museum dedicated to dog collars). The ticket costs £20, reduced 12.50, and for £15 more you can take the 5 o’clock tea, accompanied by sandwiches and pastries.
