In Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, the “Subspace” has just opened a hotel that instead of rooms with beds offers its guests “space capsules” as if it were a spaceship. “This hotel represents our vision of a stellar journey. Our intention is that the bedroom simulates the body of a ship space”, explained the owner of the establishment, Hrvoje Krlic, amateur from young to the films of science fiction. The “Subspace” capsules remind him of those in which Bruce Willis and Milla Jovovich sleep on their space voyage in the film “The Fifth Element”, one of the classics of science fiction films.
The “Subspace” has a large living room, where you will find 20 capsules for individual living and sleeping, several special capsules with bathrooms, and also has a reception, a cafeteria and a terrace. The hotel is located about 200 meters from Ban Jelacic Square, in the old town of Zagreb. The Croatian capital was until recently a mere transit point for tourists on their way to the Adriatic Sea beach, but today it is a place where travelers stay longer.Read More »‘Subspace’, a hotel with space capsules instead of rooms
Getting cheap hotels is an art. What would they do if they came to a city they did not know, far from their place of residence and were unable to contact the relatives or local friends who offered them lodging? And suddenly the night comes in that strange place and they are in the middle of the street, completely alone and carrying their suitcases.
It has happened to me to find myself in that situation – yes, with everything – and I know the discomfort and impotence that you feel, but if my experience serves you, you must know that even in that remote circumstance that many travelers have once upon a time, there are always alternatives.
There are always alternatives! This is the phrase that possibly more read in the blog because I am convinced that the problems are part of life, they will accompany us at every step, wherever we go, but each of them comes in package with – at least – a solution.Read More »6 tricks to find cheap hotels in any city

Arrive 2 hours before the flight
This recommendation is very important since arriving on time can be the difference between air traveling and road traveling. Remember that before boarding the plane, you must confirm your presence on the airline, leave your luggage (which will be heavy), go through the metal detector to the waiting room and just boarding the plane.Read More »My first airplane trip

Call while you are flying in an aircraft? Yes, we can. The US regulators are considering whether to allow phone conversations in heaven, as long as passengers are warned in advance of possible “distractions”.
