The Monterey Bay Aquarium: Marine Aquarium in California

In the twentieth century, the city of Monterey in California has experienced significant growth, thanks to fishing and processing of sardines. The sardine fishing was really rich in the bay, and the catch, was weighed, selected, trimmed, cleaned and packed in cans, ready for cooking. At the height of the boom in 1940, Cannery Row worked around 250,000 tonnes of fish every year and was the center of an area which at its best has employed 4,000 people.

Cannery Row, the Monterey Waterfront Road, is the famous novel by John Steinbeck, who with his next novel Sweet Thursday, in 1982 was brought to film by Nick Nolte and Debra Winger. And that is why, after the last sardine factory closed in 1973, the then Ocean View Avenue, was renamed in Cannery Row in honor of John Steinbeck. The Toronto PATH: The largest underground commercial center in the world

PATH, trail or path to the English, all in uppercase to indicate the pedestrian path of Toronto in Canada, the largest commercial center of the world.

Although this overhead bridge of glass and steel, the SkyWalk, is part of Toronto’s PATH, even if it is underground. In fact connects two portions of the large pedestrian path, without having to go outside. But why is it so important to avoid going out in the open air? Strange buildings, the building with the hole in Osaka, Japan

Gate Tower, perhaps the tower of the gate if we were in the Middle Ages, just as the Palace with a hole to pass the highway, since modern and realistic.

Of course, this 16-storey building is intended for offices; hard to think that you can live with the cars whizzing into the hole between the 5th and 7th floor. So beautiful that it does not seem real, this island in Semporna archipelago in Malaysia, would be published a few photos, to describe the beauty. The feeling is to wade in the water as clear as glass to find themselves among the giant green sea turtles that come here to nest and giant starfish. Geiranger in Norway, a beautiful village in tsunami risk

The rock of Flydalsjuvet is a perfect place from which to observe the small village of Geiranger, at the end of Geirangefjord, which together with the Nærøyfjord, is part of the UNESCO World Heritage List protected by UNESCO, for its natural beauty. Many people risk their lives to take a picture right on the edge of a rock, 307 meters above the ground. Scary, though incredibly beautiful.

Geiranger is an amazing place. Incredibly beautiful, seen that can boast the most frequented port 3° of Norway, although inhabited by only 250 people. Incredibly in danger, since a tsunami risk due to the slipping of the mountain Åkerneset, in the waters of the fjord. In the worst case, the fall of rocks could be so violent as to cause a tsunami, which can reach in 10 minutes this small Norwegian village. Since mid-April, herds of Salers cows joined the pastures of the Cantal mountains. At over 1200 meters, the manufacture of Salers Tradition, the iconic cheese of the region, continues as before.
