The George Washington Masonic Memorial is located in Alexandria, a suburb of Washington, which is located less than 15 kilometers from the center of the capital of the United States. Here you will find this amazing memorial dedicated to General George Washington, first President, founding father, and Mason, which was awarded the position of Grand Master of the Lodge in Alexandria.
The tower has a clear reference to the Tower of Alexandria, the ancient lighthouse for sailors, and the scholars of all time, full of a symbol which is full of masonry. The Memorial, whose tower is over 100 meters (climb to the top to enjoy the beautiful view), was built three times the 1922 and 1932, although internally, the works were completed only in 1970.
