The most beautiful beaches, Playa Divorcio in California

Playa Divorcio, the beach of divorce is so named because of the sea, almost always in a storm, the opposite of the Lovers of the nearby beach, where the sea is calmer, as if to say stormy as a divorce (even though, luckily, those increases consensual).

The beach is really nice, and here you can truly appreciate it with a virtual 360° view. Great for sunbathing, relax, take a picnic, to be avoided for swimming, given the strong currents that bathe the tip of the peninsula of California, Mexico. Kite surfing in Lacanau

Lacanau, Gironde, is a resort that has developed since the early 20th century. The city is divided into four areas: the city, the beach, the Landes forest and lakes. The beach and lakes have become over the years a famous spot for lovers of kite surfing.

Kite surfing, the sport consisting of a small board towed by a kite wing has grown strongly in recent years among surfers. Whether you are already an enthusiast or you’re willing to try, Lacanau is an ideal place to practice kite surfing and water and air combine pleasures.

Kite surfing is done on three separate spots: lakes of Carcans-Hourtins and Lacanau as well as on the beaches of the city.

Lake Carcans-Hourtins is one of the largest in Europe (18 km long and 5 km wide). But be careful to respect the authorized areas: for example it is forbidden to practice kite surfing on the town of Carcans south of the lake. The controls are fairly common and can be severely fined. Lake Lacanau offers three navigation zones authorized kite surfing. Restrictions apply in the summer because of the large number of bathers.

For those wishing to enjoy the waves, the ocean beaches are a perfect playground. The baines at low tide are attractive but reserved for experts for the current is often strong and big waves. In summer, the beaches are regulated and kite surfing is mostly banned. Off-season, the rallying point for local kiters is North Beach, famous for its winds and its accessibility. If you’re new, you will also find the surf school offering courses and initiations.

The marine park Redang Archipelago

Nine islands along the east coast of the peninsula, crystal clear sea, white sand, sun-baked rock formations, tropical palms, worthy set for Hollywood movies, fish, lots of colorful fish, coral reef inhabitants, become park to allow the turtles to hatch their eggs in peace (or almost ..), a true paradise for lovers of sea and snorkelling.

The new Disneyland in California

If you are planning a trip to California that includes Disneyland, or vice versa, this is the time. Yeah, because a couple of weeks we have great news affecting mainly the second park of the complex, namely Disney’s California Adventure.

Here was first opened Cars Land, a huge area that faithfully reproduces the locations of the animated movie Cars. The attraction of the tip is a race car in the indoor part of the mountains, called Radiator Springs Racers. Then there’s Luigi’s Flying Tires, a sort of bumper cars on giant tires off the ground from the air, and Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree, which is based on the principle of rotating cups. The Statue of Liberty will reopen (maybe) in autumn

August is not the best month to visit Manhattan in New York, when the asphalt bubbles, children play with the water that comes out of the hydrants, and to recover a little, ‘is almost obligatory to walk into a store, pretending want to buy something.

In this case, if we arrive in New York this summer, it is good to know that the Statue of Liberty, one of the most visited spot in New York, is not yet open to the public, and that the recent rumors tell that it will be until the end of autumn, at the latest by the end of 2012 (we’ll see). Say it is not open, it means that you can not access to the Crown, the Fort and the pedestal of the statue, in practice it can be seen only from the “ground floor”, where you arrive and depart by ferry. Flying with a child: our advice

Although there is your “baby”, know that from 2 years, your child will not benefit an infant fee but a child rate… And up to 12 years only! Remember, if your child is 2 years during the trip, it will be a fee to Baby and Child Fare goes back!

However, for the minimum age, no problem: baby can take off from 3 days but pediatricians often ask to wait 7 days… Watch out for vaccines and procedures depending on the destination: it generally takes more than 7 days to obtain an identity document!

Eartha: The largest rotating globe of the world, after the Earth

Reproduction of planet Earth made by DeLorme in Yarmouth (Maine, USA) presents itself as the world’s largest globe, even on the strength of its three-dimensional surface that reproduces the seas and mountains and the fact that performs the same rotation of our planet.

They called Eartha and locked in a large glass case inside the premises. Tourists and fans are allowed to see the ball land in 1999, after two years of work to put in place, it was entered in the Guinness Book of Records (thanks to its more than 12 feet in diameter). London: From July to October in the exhibition are the jewels of Queen Elizabeth

From July to October in London you can visit Buckingham Palace. This year up to October 7 in the royal palace, in addition to the luxurious State Room and the treasures of the Royal Collection, you can see up close the jewels of Queen Elisabbetta II and its predecessors in the special exhibition “Diamonds: A Jubilee Celebration”.

Just in the year of the diamond jubilee celebrations of the Queen, in fact, historical jewels, diamonds, crowns and tiaras will be visible to the many visitors to Buckingham Palace.
