Vidago Palace: A luxury hotel in Portugal

A country palace, built in 1900, in the valley of the River Douro, Portugal. It’s called Vidago Palace and a spa houses (which exploits the thermal springs in the area) surrounded by a golf course with 18 holes. Its 5 stars illuminate the grandiose facade salmon-colored, behind which are space 70 accommodation options, with 4 types of double room and 3 suites.

In the great park of the Palace there is also a large outdoor swimming pool, on board of which you can have lunch and take aperitifs and cocktails. For those who prefer to stay indoors and rainy days there is Salao Nobre Dining Room, a sumptuous lounge which serves typical dishes from the north of Portugal.

The hotel (which is located in Vidago, a city north of Vila Real close to the Spanish border and therefore not far from the Spanish Santiago) offers a variety of packages for your stay in the Douro Valley, between these there is the Take a Break: 2 nights in a superior double room, breakfast served in the winter garden, free access to the spa and relaxing treatments from 720 euro.
